“Tuxedo” stands apart as one of the most interesting properties in Culture Home’s portfolio, and is certainly the one that Tanja has been able to exert the most artistic licensure over. This beachfront Malibu house is undergoing a complete and utter renovation and will come out as one of the premiere properties of the area once finished.
Due to the place and manner in which the property is situated, Tuxedo is almost totally private and secluded, despite being directly on the beach and water. At high tide, the beach in front of the house becomes one’s own, as the water on either side of the house rises to create a private enclave. Such privacy means Tuxedo is perfect for those who are interested in discretion.
Tanja has designed this home along the lines of “beach meets islands”. There remains, as there must, a California chic vibe, but Tanja drew upon her vast experience with Aman hotels as well as extensive Caribbean travels to infuse the property with those particular sought-after qualities.
There are outdoor showers, rooms that seamlessly combine with the outdoors and balconies throughout. And if you tire of swimming in the beautiful Pacific ocean, then enjoy the stunning in-ground pool that separates the main house from the beach.
Tuxedo has both a main house as well as a two-story guesthouse for a total of six bedrooms, five full baths and one half bath with a total of 3,376 square feet.
